The beginning of the journey

After an extensive search for great tasting coffees, we realized that when you are looking for a bullish tasting coffee, The Answer is Kenyan.

Our Drive

Often times, we hear and see Kenyans talk about coffee by names, we are determined to help them address coffee by Cup Quality Profile in order to join the ivy league of coffee consumers who get the best of the creamy sweet coffees.

Not us alone, the world hails the Kenyan coffee

We were a lot more mesmerized by how great the Americans, Europeans, Japanese, and lately South Koreans give hearty applause to the Kenyan great tasting coffees.

We set on a mission to establish the veracity of their fondness for the Kenyan coffee. We talked to Kimani coffee experts master taster who has over 20 years experience in sampling, testing, tasting, and ranking coffees by their cup quality profile.

The master taster availed to us coffee samples whose flavourful experience has never departed from our taste buds and sensory nerves. We even thought we were consuming bustling juicy fruits because the flavour was not anything we had associated with coffee before.

The first samples we shared with a number of friends who escalated our curiosity to look for even more highly ranking and tasting Kenyan coffees.

One hotelier who runs Papaya Restaurants within the CBD asked whether what we gave him was coffee or artificial sweetened coffee.

One dedicated lady who sells newspapers along Koinange Street made it even more interesting when she stated to us she was always anxious to get home after work so that she could prepare herself a cup of the coffee.

A close friend who runs an IT company made it funnier when he told us that he gave out other coffees he had bought to his neighbours, and since in the course of the day he could not afford to miss out the flavour, he carries with him the coffee in a take away mug.

All this experiences we did not know that will fix our mind and the gaze to always search and isolate unique sweet coffees from Kenya.

Our master taster and cupper, Mr. Kimani of Kimani coffee experts, trained, certified by Coffee Board of Kenya, Specialty Coffee Association of America, having worked with among others Taylor Winch, a Swiss specialty coffee company as a taster and quality assurance manager for over 20 years.
